To celebrate National Philanthropy Day, November 15th, 550+ community members gathered at the Prairieland Park to acknowledge and award philanthropic achievement in our city. The AFP Saskatoon Chapter worked tirelessly to ensure another successful luncheon. This year the organizers invited Amiskusees: Semaganis Worme Family Foundation co-founder Donald Worme to the stage as their keynote speaker. Donald shared pieces of his life growing up on Kawacatoose First Nation, the nehiyaw (Cree) values that were instilled into him and his brother as young boys.
